Multiplexing

Multiplexing is when Video and Audio are merged together to form one file. The following guide instructs how to do this with TMPGEnc

Open up TMPGEnc

Click on File > MPEG Tools

This is what the MPEG Tools looks like when first opened

Above is a drop down menu that gives you options of what format you want it to be MPEG1, MPEG2, SVCD,VCD etc.

Video Part: Click on browse a locate your video file and click open

Audio Part: Click and browse for your video source

TMPGEnc will automatically create a output file name but you can change the by clicking on browse and save your filename.

Next click on RUN and wait till your loading mouse icon disappears and returns to normal the your file will have been created. Version 2.53 has a progress bar so we can see when it is finished.
